Spotlight On the Four Seasons London Hotel at Park Lane

January 17, 2011

Located in the heart of Mayfair, the Four Seasons London has been a city staple for years. It closed its doors just two years ago to undergo what promises to be a massive transformation–and an impressive one at that. Scheduled for a January 31, 2011 opening the hotel is gearing up for what the hotel describes as “a completely new experience”.

One of the most exciting changes to the hotel includes a brand new top floor with a 7,500 square foot spa that has 360 degree views of London, nine treatments rooms and a rooftop fitness center—just to name a few of the opulent amenities. Designed by Eric Parry, the spa restructure was inspired by natural materials indigenous to the area so expect to find a luxurious, yet natural sanctuary set amid the London sky.

New interiors will align every room and corridor inside the hotel, designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the famed designer responsible for various Four Seasons projects including renovations in Paris, Geneva and Washington DC. The property will feature 192 rooms which includes 45 suites, some with fireplaces and terraces.

The dining experience at the Four Seasons promises to be a unique one–a single destination with three different areas—which the hotel calls Amaranto. Amaranto includes a restaurant, bar and lounge which will serve Italian inspired food and drinks. We predict the London social scene will make its presence well known at this new hot spot.
