The PlumpJack Winery’s Estate Vineyard, established in 1881, is nestled along the Vaca Mountain range on the eastern side of the Napa Valley. Long-known for producing dynamic aged wines, the winery emphasizes its reserve and estate Cabernet Sauvignons. A nominal tasting fee of $10 allows you to sample some of the best wines in Napa, including the rich vintage 2008 CADE Sauvignon Blanc, the classic full-bodied 2007 PlumpJack Reserve Chardonnay, the dense and rich 2006 Plump Syrah, the rich and vibrant 2006 PlumpJack Merlot, the smooth 2006 Cade Napa Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon, and the granddaddy of the winery, the 206 PlumpJack Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

Aside from the established winery, the property hosts The Carneros Inn, which is nestled among 27 acres of seemingly endless rows of grape vines, fertile Napa farmland and scenic apple orchards. Voted as one of the Top 25 Romantic Destinations in the World by Travel & Leisure, the stylish and eclectic resort does not disappoint.
The resort boasts three full service restaurants – FARM, The Boon Fly Café and The Hilltop Dining Room; an infinity-edge swimming pool overlooking the hills of Carneros; the award winning luxury Spa Motion Studio; a 2,000-square-foot fitness barn; and a relaxing outdoor lounge, just to name a few of the luxurious, yet-laid back amenities.
